Objectives

The aim of this post-evaluation is to comprehensively assess the Ministry of Political and Parliamentary Affairs' awareness programs, implemented in collaboration with partners, to determine their effectiveness in increasing citizen awareness and enhancing political participation in Jordan. The evaluation also seeks to gauge the Ministry’s success in achieving its strategic goals for 2024–2028 and to assess its capacity for sustainable program evaluation and development independently, reducing reliance on external consultants and experts.

Summary

This report aims to evaluate the impact of awareness and political participation programs implemented by the Ministry of Political and Parliamentary Affairs in Jordan, in response to the constitutional amendments and new political laws approved in 2022. The evaluation assesses the effect of these programs on target groups, particularly youth, women, and people with disabilities, within the context of efforts to promote their engagement in political life. Additionally, the report examines challenges faced by the Ministry during implementation and provides recommendations to enhance the Ministry’s performance, ensuring the sustainability of program impacts over the long term.
